The professional body has named Aston Lark chief executive Peter Blanc as president for 2022.
Blanc is also non-executive chairman of Hastings Insurance Services, the broker arm of Hastings Direct.
In the coming months, he will work closely with current CII president and chief executive of Aon UK, Julie Page, before taking over as president and chair of the president’s forum on 1 January 2022.

The advice firm has named Alexander Herr as head of network.
Herr will head the newly established PCC Wealth Network.
Before joining PCC, he held the position of international sales director for Gibraltar based STM Life Assurance.

The IFA firm has hired Lucy Ewings as group finance director and Tony Bullock as head of compliance.
Ewings was most recently at Succession Wealth and Bullock has held roles at Succession Wealth and Chase De Vere.

He was previously chief executive of Feefo, a customer review technology platform, and led the business to achieve consistent double-digital growth.

The UK wealth management and professional services group has hired Natasha Etherton as a financial planner based in its Maidstone office.
Etherton worked initially for Origen Financial Services for 14 years before joining LEBC in 2015, where she helped set up their Maidstone office.

The wealth manager has expanded its intermediary sales team with the appointment of Nick Hendy as intermediary sales manager.
He joins from Heartwood Investment Management, where he was client director.

Laura Harper has joined the law firm’s private client team as a partner.
She advises both UK resident and non-domiciled individuals, families and trustees on a variety of UK tax, trust law and international estate planning issues.
Harper joins the firm from the London office of McDermott Will & Emery, where she was a member of the international tax advisory team in the private client department for the last three years.

The global asset manager has announced that Colin Moore will retire from his role as global chief investment officer after nearly 20 years at the firm.
William Davies, currently Emea chief investment officer and global head of equities, will become take over from Moore, who will retire in January 2022.

The investment manager has appointed Oliver Little to the role of head of UK insurance solutions.
Little joins from JP Morgan Asset Management, where he was a UK client adviser for the group’s global insurance solutions business for more than five years.

The fund manager has appointed Mario Cuccia as director.
He was notably general manager at Banca Fideuram before joining the Allianz Group in Italy, where he was general manager and also chief executive and chairman of the board of directors of its banking subsidiary, Allianz Bank.
Redhedge Asset Management
The investment manager has named Raj Dutta as head of business development.
He was previously at Salomon Brothers, Goldman Sachs, Union Bancaire Privee, Oxford Asset Management and Lombard Odier.

Chris Samuel has been appointed as an independent non-executive director at the financial services firm.
He was chief executive of Ignis Asset Management.
