bny mellon appoints global head of distribution

BNY Mellon has appointed PeterPaul Pardi as global head of distribution for its investment management business.

BNY Mellon has appointed PeterPaul Pardi as global head of distribution for its investment management business.

Pardi joins BNY from global private equity firm Arcapita where he was global head of institutional investment placement. Prior to this he worked for Pimco, Lehman Brothers Investment Management and Barclays Global Investors.

In this new role he will be responsible for creating and implementing the strategies for the organization’s distribution, marketing and client service functions. Pardi will be based in London reporting to both Curtis Arledge, chief executive officer of BNY Mellon Investment Management, and Mitchell Harris, president of BNY Mellon Investment Management.

“PeterPaul’s deep client relationships and understanding of their needs, strong international background, strategic business development skills and financial services experience will significantly help us in achieving continued success,” said Arledge.
