While the hunt for yield continues unabated, investors are increasingly looking a little further afield than just equity income funds.

While the hunt for yield continues unabated, investors are increasingly looking a little further afield than just equity income funds.

But, while the equity income has been and remains popular, increasingly investors and their advisers are looking for yield in more unusual places.

One of these areas is the credit space and, in particular, the slightly more niche areas of credit, a realm that includes everything from GP surgeries to asset-backed lending to small and medium sized projects.
