JTC Group extends services to Cayman

By International Adviser, 27 Aug 14

JTC Group has been granted a licence to provide its private client, corporate, fund and real estate services in the Cayman Islands.

JTC Group has been granted a licence to provide its private client, corporate, fund and real estate services in the Cayman Islands.

The group has had a presence in the area through an alliance office since 2013, but has only now been granted a licence to deliver its full range of services.

The Cayman office will focus on establishing and servicing Cayman domiciled funds as well as listing of securities on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange.

The company said it will continue to build on its existing platform of services for private and international clients.

This will include company incorporation and administration services and the provision of directors to companies and regulated funds.

Group head of corporate services, Stuart Pinnington, will oversee the office.

He said: “Many of our clients are based in Asia and the Middle East and have shown a keen interest in Cayman as a service centre, and we are now able to offer them our full suite of services.”

Formed in 1987, JTC group now has a global reach of 20 jurisdictions through its main service centres, and alliance and sales offices, as well as US$40bn in assets under administration.

Last week, the group opened its second office in the US, adding New York City to its Miami presence.

The office will operate as part of JTC Group Americas, headed up by managing director of the North American region, Emilio Miguel.
