Wilson will be London based but will lead the product and services development team internationally.
For Barclays Wealth Advisory Wilson lead the team responsible for developing and delivering new products as well as managing the existing portfolio of products and he will fulfil a similar role at Coutts.
Ian Ewart, managing director, head of products, services and marketing at Coutts, said: “The products and services development team has been formed to better meet the growing demand from clients who have increasingly diverse investment needs.
“This team will work closely with product managers and support functions to safely deliver new products and supervise our existing product range to ensure our overall product suite is dynamically managed.”
