John Monaghan is a Senior Investment Research Analyst at Square Mile Investment Consulting and Research with a focus on equities. John started his investment career in 1995 as an analyst at Bank of Bermuda’s London office. Following HSBC’s acquisition of Bank of Bermuda in 2004, he spent two years with the HSBC Multimanager team before moving to Origen as a discretionary portfolio manager. Prior to joining Square Mile John spent six years as an equity fund analyst with S&P Fund Research where he was lead analyst for GEM, Asia ex Japan, EMEA and Latin American funds. John holds the investment management certificate and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
