Le Cornu was formerly at BNP Paribas where he was head of its wealth management businesses in Jersey, which included trust work.
He will also the Coutts Trustees (Jersey) Board.
Martin Hall, chief executive of Coutts Trustees, said Le Cornu had over 25 years in the offshore fiduciary industry and “is extremely well positioned to play a significant role in shaping our business”.
