Carrick Wealth opens specialist financial planning division

By Robbie Lawther, 9 Jun 20

Firm will offer trust and international Will services to high net worth individuals and families

South African wealth and investment advisory firm Carrick Wealth has expanded its offering with specialist fiduciary and planning services for high net worth clients, families and businesses.

The newly created Carrick Consult division has assembled a team of qualified attorneys, accountants and tax practitioners who will tend to their clients’ needs.

The services offered include:

  • Drafting of Wills (local and international);
  • Estate planning and administration;
  • Trust formation and administration;
  • Deceased estate administration;
  • Corporate restructuring and commercial agreements.

Anthony Palmer, Carrick Group commercial director, said: “This is such a vitally important part of wealth planning and management but is so often neglected or postponed by people because it requires time, focus and above all, expertise.

“And if you don’t know exactly what you are dealing with, even with regard to just the basic fiduciary and financial planning requirements of housing, protecting and preserving your wealth, you could easily make very costly mistakes.”
