Former Goldman Sachs exec joins Capital Group in Singapore

By Laura Purkess, 11 Nov 25

He will build up the firm’s Asia financial intermediaries team

Capital Group has appointed former Goldman Sachs executive Ser Kiat Lim as director, financial intermediaries for Singapore and Southeast Asia, the firm said in a statement.

In the newly-created role, he will build up the firm’s Asia financial intermediaries team, focusing on deepening the firm’s private wealth distribution footprint in the region.

Based in Singapore, he will report to Suyin Tan, head of financial intermediaries for Singapore and Southeast Asia. He has a decade of experience in intermediary sales, most recently at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he was executive director. He previously worked for J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

Capital Group oversees around $3tn (around $2.3tn) in assets under management as of June this year.
