Aviva Investor’s Francois de Bruin talks ‘time in the market’ and the ‘nastiest problem in finance’

Global markets have had a tumultuous time of late and it begs the questions, does the adage of ‘time in the market’ over ‘timing the market’ still hold true?

To find out more, International Adviser spoke to Francois de Bruin, fund manager, sustainable income & growth and head of listed real estate at Aviva Investors.

In the video above, he also addresses the challenges of finding income sources in the lower-for-longer environment and looks at what investors and their advisers need to avoid when they start withdrawing their hard-earned retirement savings.
