Hoxton Wealth partners with BNY Pershing to enhance platform experience

Hoxton Wealth has announced a strategic partnership with BNY Pershing to help develop and grow its platform and enhance its user experience.

The firm said the move is intended to improve operational efficiency, data integration and client servicing, while supporting its international growth. The integration enables straight-through processing and reduces manual intervention across workflows, according to CEO Chris Ball (pictured).

Ball described the development as a “practical step forward”, adding that the changes are designed to streamline processes and improve consistency across the business. He said the integration allows for broader and more consistent data usage, which in turn supports reporting and decision-making.

The partnership is also expected to reduce administrative demands on advisers and support teams. By automating certain processes, planners may spend more time on client-facing activities rather than operational tasks.

“In simple terms, it removes the need to duplicate tasks across platforms and supports a more consistent end-to-end experience for clients,” he said.

Hoxton said the enhanced data capabilities and reporting functions could lead to more tailored financial planning and improved visibility for clients. The firm also noted that, in some cases, the changes may help identify opportunities to reduce platform-related costs.

The agreement does not change Hoxton’s independent status. The firm said it will continue to operate an open-architecture approach, maintaining relationships with multiple providers and selecting solutions based on client suitability.

The integration also supports Hoxton’s cross-border offering. The firm operates across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK, EU and US, and said the partnership provides a more consistent platform experience for internationally based clients.

The firm did not disclose financial terms of the partnership.
