Titan continues to grow and at time of writing was integrating its deal – subject to regulatory approval – with Blacktower Group which was revealed in IA in October 2025.
James previously founded Pantheon which he was well-known for after 18 years with the company. Pantheon was an Independent Financial Advisory firm which acquired seven similar firms over six years, creating one of the largest independent IFA platforms in the UK. Following an MBO and repurchase by James, the business was sold to Ascot Lloyd in 2017.
Alongside his role at Titan Wealth, James currently sits as Chairman of SME Capital, a company he founded in 2016. James holds several chairman and NED positions across various industries.
James also sits on the Advisory Board of Hyperion, helps with deal sourcing through his extensive network, and mentors management teams as they navigate their growth.
