An IFA recruitment company which was soft launched in January has said it is ready to fully launch into the market after completing nearly 12 months of testing.

Website ifamatch.com, which has so far placed 100 advisers in offshore roles, is headed by ex-IFA Brian Cosgrave. The company’s aim is to help both employees and employers by matching the skills and desires of candidates to specific roles.

Cosgrave said: “ifamatch.com has been designed specifically to work in the recruitment and placement of financial advisers.

“We have invested heavily in our technology and processes to de-mystify the whole process for both the potential employees, and employers and to speed up the process for those involved.”

Cosgrave added that the company has already made hires for advisory firms in the Middle East and Asia, and should be recruiting for companies in Latin America in the near future.

“The business has got to the point where we are comfortable with the technology and so it is now scalable,” he said.

The company offers a range of services to recruiters, including: preparing marketing materials, placing advertisements, broadcasting emails to appropriate databases, and interviewing potential employees. Candidates can build online profiles and discuss their priorities with an account director.

Towards the end of last month, ifamatch.com was advertising jobs based in Africa, Asia, continental Europe, Ireland, the Middle East, South America, and the UK.
