Juan Valenzuela (pictured), who joined the firm in October from a position as manager on the Alliance Trust Dynamic Bond Fund, will become co-manager of the UK domiciled Kames Strategic Bond Fund alongside existing co-managers David Roberts and Phil Milburn. He has also been made support manager on the Dublin-domiciled Strategic Global Bond Fund.
Colin Finlayson, who is currently co-manager of the Kames Absolute Return Bond Fund and who has been support manager on the UK-domiciled Kames Strategic Bond Fund, has been appointed co-manager of the Dublin-domiciled Kames Strategic Global Bond Fund alongside Roberts and Milburn.
Milburn, who took a leave of absence from the firm as a result of ill-health in September 2015, is expected to return to action early this year, the firm confirmed.
