The firm said the new office will provide a range of international pension, offshore wealth management and financial structuring solutions to expatriates and “internationally minded” high net worth South African individuals and family offices.
Mount Rock said the Johannesburg office is its third new branch on the African continent in the last 18 months and the second this year taking to four the number it has on the continent in total.
In addition to the new office, the firm has offices in London, Hong Kong and Switzerland, as well as the three others in Africa – in Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya.
The new office has been registered as an authorised financial services provider with the South African Financial Services Board.
