Nick James leaves Generali International

By Mark Battersby, 17 Jul 15

Generali International’s sales manager for North Asia, Nick James, has left the company after spending more than a decade there.

A spokesperson for Generali International confirmed that James, who joined in 2005, had left “to pursue other interests”.

In May, Generali International joined other international life companies in launching a Hong Kong savings product fully compliant with the ban on indemnity commission introduced at the beginning of the year.

In April, it was announced that Generali International and Generali Worldwide Insurance Company would merge to capitalise on the globally expanding expat market, although the move saw the newly created firm withdraw from around 14 jurisdictions.

Generali International is part of the Generali Group, and is based in Guernsey. It is an authorised insurer in both Hong Kong and Singapore, supported by offices in the Far East, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe.
