In this second part of his top tips for the new tax year, Hamilton reveals his four pointers for incoming expats looking to live or work in the UK:

  1. Take advantage of a ‘once in a lifetime’opportunity this year for non-domiciled individuals (non-doms).

Until 5th April 2019, the government has granted non-doms the right to remit funds to the UK without incurring a UK tax liability on the transfer. Certain conditions must be fulfilled and actions taken to achieve a tax effective remittance.
