The insurance giant has hired Sabine Keller-Busse to the group’s board.
Keller-Busse is a member of the group executive board of UBS Group and holds the roles of UBS Switzerland president and group chief operating officer.
Lloyds Banking Group
Rose St Louis ha been named as protection director at the group.
She will join the group on 15 March, succeeding Gary Burchett who is retiring later this year.
St Louis was previously a director in KPMG’s insurance practice and has over 20 years of experience in financial services.
Schroders
Sam Hallinan will join as chief executive of Australia in April.
He joins from Nikko Asset Management where, since 2015, he was managing director of the Australian business.
IQ-EQ
The financial services provider has named Mirek Gruna as chief commercial officer for Jersey.
He was most recently managing director of Dominion Fiduciary and TMF Group.
Vanguard
The investment giant has named Fong Yee Chan as head of ESG strategy for the UK and Europe, a newly created role.
Previously, she was director of FTSE Russell’s sustainable investment products team, responsible for its Emea sustainable investment ETF strategy.
Close Brothers Asset Management (CBAM)
The wealth firm has appointed John Sawbridge as an investment director in its Mayfair office.
He joins CBAM from RX Partners, where he spent two years as a consultant.
Brewin Dolphin
The UK wealth manager has appointed Johnny McGlynn as its head of office for Edinburgh.
He joined Brewin Dolphin in 2009 as head of financial planning for Edinburgh, a role he held for five years before becoming head of business development and growth for the office.
McGlynn takes over from Marc Wilkinson, who is now regional managing director of Scotland overseeing the Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen offices as well as performing his groupwide head of wealth governance role.
Chelverton Asset Management
The firm has appointed Sally Clifton as responsible investing manager, a newly created position.
In 2019, she was appointed head of responsible investing by Quilter Investors.
Guiide
The Glasgow-based retirement tool has hired Phillip Hodges and Steve Goddard as directors, and Julius Pursaill as an adviser.
Hodges was previously an associate director at Ergo Consulting, while Goddard was a managing director of Goddard Perry Consulting.
Pursaill is a specialist in independent pensions with 25 years’ experience.
United Insurance Brokers
The firm has appointed James Wilson as head of M&A and financial lines.
He was previously head of M&A insurance at Tysers.
