Five property funds to write home about

With data from the likes of Cofunds and the IMA showing property fund sales have been very strong of late, some may be inclined

However, property funds have at least as much variation as any other IMA sector in terms of the performance delivered by the many funds available in the market, so just adding property for the sake of adding it is unlikely to be a wise move.

We decided to dive into the recent performance data and pick out five funds which have delivered top notch returns over the past year. Our selctions have beaten the IMA Property index, which is up 10% itself, by at least 5% this year and by as much as 18% in one case.

While past performance offers no guarantees of continued returns, it certainly makes these five worth a closer look if you are in the market for some property exposure.
