qatar financial centre authority appoints

The Qatar Financial Centre Authority has appointed Yousef Al-Jaida as chief strategic development officer.

The Qatar Financial Centre Authority has appointed Yousef Al-Jaida as chief strategic development officer.

In his new role, Al-Jaida will take responsibility for the “overall strategic development of the QFC Authority”. He began in the new position on 10 February.

Al-Jaida joined the QFCA in August 2010 as director, strategic development – asset management and banking.

Shashank Srivastava, chief executive and board member of the QFC Authority said: “Yousef Al-Jaida has successfully led the development of a central part of the QFC Authority’s strategy, building up our presence in asset management and banking. 

“With Yousef now responsible for the overall strategic development of the QFC Authority, I am confident we will continue to make progress in serving Qatar’s financial sector and strengthening our position as a leading financial centre.”
