People moving to the UAE for the first time have a lot to think about and prepare. As a result, the British Embassy has launched its ‘checking in’ campaign, offering tips and advice on how to settle in quickly and smoothly.

Many people need consular assistance because they do not check in properly when they first get to the UAE, the British Embassy has warned. “Don’t let it be you! Remember, if you’ve just arrived in the UAE there is a lot of paperwork that needs to be completed to ensure you stay legal.” Click through the slides above to see what pitfalls to avoid.
