Ebner, who joins the firm from NYSE Euronext, where most recently he was global head of exchange traded products, will be based in London and will be responsible for developing the group’s global ETF range. He will report to James Ross, global head of Exchange Traded Funds at State Street.
While at NYSE Euronext, Ebner oversaw the listing and trading of ETFs, warrants, certificates, structured notes, investment funds and other exchange traded products. Prior to joining NYSE Euronext, Ebner served as senior vice president of the ETF marketplace at the American Stock Exchange.
