With only a few days to go until the results of the 2017 snap UK election are revealed, we looked at the Tory and Labour party manifestos to see how their pledges on business, tax and pensions stacked up.

Conservatives

Executive pay packets will be made subject to strict shareholder votes each year under Tory plans to tackle high pay.

The party has pledged to legislate to bring the changes in and would also force listed companies to publish the ratio of executive pay against the average worker in the UK.
