Veritas has hired former Schroders and Merrill Lynch manager Lucy Colback.

Veritas has hired former Schroders and Merrill Lynch manager Lucy Colback.

Colback’s new position will see her broaden Veritas’ analytical coverage of Australia and Taiwan as well as supporting Ezra Sun in the management of the Veritas Asian Fund, Real Return Asian Fund and China Fund.

Colback, who has previously worked at Bear Stearns Asia and Horizon as well as Merrill Lynch and Schroders, will report to Sun, head of Far East at Veritas, and will be based in London.

“I have known Lucy for 17 years and believe she will be a fantastic addition to our team. Given her extensive Asian experience both on the “buy” and “sell” sides, Lucy has an in-depth understanding of the region’s markets, in addition to an extensive knowledge of companies based in Asia,” Sun said.
