WisdomTree has launched an ETF providing exposure to companies driving the development and commercialisation of the global space economy ahead of the SpaceX IPO.

WisdomTree Space Economy UCITS ETF (WSPC) tracks the price and yield performance of the WisdomTree Space Economy UCITS Index.

The WisdomTree Space Economy UCITS ETF provides exposure to the space economy across four key verticals: launches and infrastructure, commercial space, defence space and emerging technologies.

The proprietary index selects and weights companies based on their relevance to the space economy, combining thematic and company-level scoring to prioritise firms and verticals most relevant for further development and commercialisation of the field, with quarterly rebalancing.

The ETF has a Total Expense Ratio (TER) of 0.50%. WSPC is listed on Xetra, Borsa Italiana, Euronext Paris and the SIX Swiss Exchange, and will list on the London Stock Exchange on 5 June 2026.

Pierre Debru, head of research, Europe, at WisdomTree, said: “Space is transitioning from a niche, government-led domain into a broader economic ecosystem with expanding commercial and strategic importance.

“A defining milestone in this shift could come with the SpaceX IPO, which is widely expected to attract unprecedented investor attention and further accelerate mainstream participation in the space economy. This ETF is designed to capture that transformation through a diversified and forward-looking approach to investing in the space economy.”

Alexis Marinof, CEO, Europe, at WisdomTree, added: “This new ETF builds on our established thematic capabilities, providing a transparent and research-driven approach to access one of the most exciting frontiers of innovation. It also reinforces our commitment to offering investors a broad range of research-driven thematic exposures that can help meet evolving portfolio objectives.”
