Fathalla Ebrahim, who replaces Tracy Christian, will report to Mark Hartigan chief executive of the company’s company’s global life division for the Middle East and Africa.
Ebrahim has 20 years of insurance experience. He has served as a board director of the Bahrain Insurance Association and has worked as a part-time lecturer at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance.
Hartigan, CEO said: “As Zurich celebrates its 25th anniversary in Bahrain, Fathalla is extremely well placed to position our customer offering, and reinforce our longstanding commitment to Bahrain and the wider Middle East region.”
