The number of providers offering drawdown has gone up since the pension vehicle was first introduced in the UK in 1995, but differences in quality of service and charges can be substantial, warns Hargreaves Lansdown, which has offered seven tips to compare providers.

Some providers offer more help and support than others.

Interactive online tools, like a drawdown calculator, can help you to see how much your pension pot could be worth, and how long it could last.

Fund research and share insight from experts can also help keep you informed about the latest news and opportunities.
