Yusuf Jehangir will be responsible for strengthening Zurich’s marketing capabilities, enhancing the customer and distributor experience, and driving brand awareness and consideration in the market.
Zurich said his job will involve providing more detailed customer insights, improving product propositions and providing greater support to brokers, banks and other distributors.
He will report to Jawed Barna, who was appointed chief executive for Zurich International Life MEA in March last year.
Jehangir joins Zurich from the Qatar Financial Centre in Doha, where he was director of marketing & corporate communications, focused on insurance, banking and asset management.
He has two decades of marketing experience from Europe, North America, and the Middle East including roles wth American Express in the Us and Unilever in the UK.
