Chris Ivinson has left Royal Skandia to “pursue other career opportunities”, after eight years during which he was a key figure in building its presence in Singapore.

Ivinson was latterly made head of sales for the region, in August 2012, reporting to Craig Ellis, head of region and principal officer for Royal Skandia in Singapore and SE Asia.

He had been part of the Royal Skandia team in Singapore since 2006 and this most recent role had involved expanding Skandia International’s distribution base across the region.

In a statement, Skandia told International Adviser that Ivinson had “decided to leave Royal Skandia to pursue other career opportunities” and added that he had been instrumental in building Royal Skandia's business in South East Asia.

Sales managers Jammine Soh and Huw Wedlock, who reported to Ivinson, will continue to deal with advisers on the domestic and expat side respectively.
