coutts appoints former credit suisse wealth

Former Credit Suisse wealth planning head Steve Griffiths has joined Coutts, tasked with developing the companys tax & wealth structuring teams capabilities in the UK, Asia and Switzerland.

Coutts said in the newly created role, Griffiths will be responsible for delivering relevant products and services, according to client needs and market opportunities, within the three regions.

Based in London he will report to Ian Ewart, head of products, services & marketing.
Griffiths has 12 years experience as a senior executive in wealth planning. Prior to working at Credit Suisse, he worked at UBS as head of UK wealth planning.

Coutts said the appointment reflected the company’s “continued growth plans and complements the recent hires in the Products & Services team, both in the UK and in Asia”.
