Andy Newman had an unusual route into finance, having previously played as a professional rugby player for 14 years. During his successful sports career, he won the Heineken Cup with Northampton Saints and the Celtic League with the Ospreys. He joined LGT 14 years ago as a business development director before rising to become head of international business development. Newman previously won the II Awards 2022-23 Personality of the Year Award.
