Plan Your Retirement Limited is the fourth UK advice company to fail in 2023, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has announced.
The FSCS declared on 11 January 2023 that the firm had failed.
According to the Financial Conduct Authority Register, the pension advice business has not been authorised since 24 August 2009. It was registered with the regulator for just over one year.
The FSCS said it has received two claims against Plan Your Retirement for pension transfer advice, but they are not related to the British Steel Pension Scheme.
Midhurst Asset Management, Nurture Financial Planning and Cadogan Asset Management were the first advice firms to fail in 2023.
