Gloucestershire-headquartered financial planning firm Integrity365 has bought Scottish IFA firms MacDonald Partnership and Hart Wealth for undisclosed sums.

The MacDonald Partnership, which has offices in Arbroath and Inverness, was launched in 1978 by Ian MacDonald and is now run by his son Ross Macdonald.

As part of the deal, the firm will retain its own brand.

Helensburgh-based Hart Wealth, whose client bank is mainly located within Glasgow and the west of Scotland more broadly, will rebrand as the MacDonald Partnership.

It was previously part of insurance broker Hartinsure.

Integrity365 chief executive Matt Goy said: “This expansion into Scotland is a natural step to develop our offering, and we look forward to building on the strong foundations already established by the MacDonald Partnership and Hart Wealth.”

The acquisitions add to Integrity365’s three existing offices located in Dyrham, High Wycombe and London.
