In his new role, Peake will be based in Jersey, and will manage all aspects of risk monitoring and reporting for Deutsche Bank’s private wealth management businesses across the Channel Islands and Cayman Islands, and help to coordinate Deutsche Bank’s business risk management and compliance functions.
The bank did not immediately say who Peake succeeds in the role. However, it said that Tracy Spence, who is based in Guernsey, has been named to take his place as deputy head of compliance for its Channel Islands operation, a role Peake has held since 2010. Tracy, who joined Deutsche Bank in 1998, has been part of the Compliance team since September 2010, Deutsche Bank said.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Peake was a senior manager at KPMG’s forensic unit in the UK.
