While Japanese stocks haven’t historically been known for their pace, the move upwards seen over the last 18 months or so has been significant. But, with 20 years of deflation a very recent memory as well as significant cultural and demographic issues, the possibility of injury to the recovery remain high. If managed correctly, however, the returns could continue to be considerable.
