clyde and co to merge with barlow lyde and gilbert

International law firm Clyde & Co is set to absorb Barlow Lyde & Gilbert on 11 Nov, 2011, substantially increasing both companies’ reach and scope, especially in Asia.

International law firm Clyde & Co is set to absorb Barlow Lyde & Gilbert on 11 Nov, 2011, substantially increasing both companies' reach and scope, especially in Asia.

The newly merged firm – which will keep the Clyde & Co name – will comprise 270 partners and 1,300 lawyers in 27 offices around the world including Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, London, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Although it provides the full range of legal services, Clyde & Co specialises in complex multi-jurisdictional contracts and dispute resolution. Both law firms are based in the City of London but with a large number of international offices.
