Data gathered by fintech firm Sharing Alpha offers insight of not just the most popular, but also the funds rated the highest by professional fund buyers. So, which were the top rated domiciled in the UK and Luxembourg in August?
MFS Meridian Global Equity Fund
Capital appreciation is the name of the game of the MFS Meridian Global Equity Fund, measured in US dollars, and has seen it bounce to one of the top rated funds online. More than 70% of the fund is invested in equities from across developed and emerging markets, mostly large-cap equities. At £5.7m the fund is not large, and holds only a small percentage of UK equities. Cash holdings are currently at just over 1%.
