1) What is the long-term economic outlook for the life industry?
I see a 2-speed world: Europe and the UK will see areas of defined but modest growth, while the real expansion will be in the developing world, where the growth potential will mirror the growth of the developing world in general.
Throughout the developing world there is a growing middle class, plus improvements in education, health, democracy and governance, meaning there is now vast potential for those who genuinely commit to the market.
