IA readers new benefits to include must-see adviser event

By Gary Robinson, 2 Apr 24

These benefits will include free access to exclusive video and content on IA’s sister titles and early access to must-see international events

International Adviser subscribers and readers can now take advantage of a series of additional benefits following its ownership change last week.

These benefits will include free access to exclusive video and content on IA’s sister titles and early access to a series of must-see international events in the UK, Middle East, Latin America and Africa in 2024.

Last week, as reported, IA was purchased by new publishing house Money Map Media, which also publishes Investment International.

The first of these new benefits for IA readers includes early registration for the Third Annual II Connect 2024 event will take place on Thursday May 23, 9am-4pm at the Cavendish Conference Centre (Hallam) in London’s Marylebone/West End.

II Connect 2024 (click here to register) will this year feature on stage debate where the very existence of cross border advice is questioned by a panel featuring some key names from within the biggest advisory companies.

The event also offers an innovative and highly participatory event format with the popular live on-stage case studies and some pertinent speaker/sponsor sessions from Canada Life, Finance Isle of Man, Marlborough, QB Partners, UAP Group.

Gary Robinson, pictured left speaking at last year’s II Connect event, director and co-founder Money Map Media, said: “We are just one week in as the new owners of IA but we have been quick to make changes to improve the international and UK coverage and are delighted to now offer IA readers the chance to grab the limited tickets on offer at our exclusive events.

“The first is our II Connect 2024 event which will take place on Thursday May 23, 9am-4pm in London.

“At II Connect we have a real blockbuster panel lined up for this year. We can’t wait to share the participants with you, so watch this space this week as we reveal all. It is obvious that the changing face of the cross-border financial services industry and how ongoing regulatory changes and forthcoming potential political changes in various regions – including the UK – will impact is at the forefront of many advisers and wealth managers minds.

“And in speaking with our partnering advisory firms about the key topics for our big panel discussion at II Connect 2024, the very future of the cross border industry is up for debate. This panel is set to be dynamite and definitely should not be missed.”

All speakers and panelists will be announced here this week on IA in a series of daily announcements from the event so watch this space for details.
