Career highlight’s He is a recognized leader in the international financial services industry, known for his ability to open new markets, inspire teams, and build strong partnerships across the globe. At Investors Trust, he has been instrumental in expanding the company’s footprint in Latin America and beyond, positioning the brand as a benchmark for innovation and client-focused solutions. With a passion for connecting people and creating long-term value, Gustavo stands out not only for his strategic vision but also for the energy and commitment he brings to every project.

Greatest challenge: One of greatest challenges was leading the expansion of Investors Trust into new and highly competitive international markets, particularly across Sub Saharan Africa and the former Soviet Union countries. This required navigating complex regulatory environments, establishing strategic distribution channels, and building long-term trust with partners and clients.

How do you relax? Spending time with the family and friends, running, playing football, skiing.

Most significant industry change of last 5 years? The shift toward transparency, regulatory alignment, and client-focused innovation. Increasing global regulation forced providers to redesign products and distribution models, prioritizing compliance, reporting, and sustainability. At the same time, the industry moved from traditional, savings-oriented products to more flexible investment-linked solutions that address the needs of globally mobile clients. Digitalization has also transformed distribution, onboarding, and client servicing, making cross-border solutions more accessible and efficient.
