Ian Maidens co-founded Utmost Group in 2013 and now serves as the group’s chief financial officer. Maidens started his career in life assurance and moved into actuarial consultancy. He then worked at Resolution I, and following its merger with Britannic Group, he was appointed director of Resolution PLC as well as group chief actuary and head of corporate development. He later became a founding partner of Resolution II before he went on to found Utmost.
