I have worked at IFGL since 2008 and prior to becoming Chief Sales Officer in 2025 was the Head of Technical Services. I have extensive industry experience, having also been the Chair of the Isle of Man Insurance Association for 4 years and a Director of the Isle of Man branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). I am also a Director of IFGL Global Trusts.

Greatest challenge:
Over the last 20 years there have been significant changes to the regulation and legislation applying financial services. The challenge is being able to adapt and work with regulators/legislators to ensure that your business and its products remain fit for purpose.
How do you relax?
I raced motorcycles as a hobby for 20 years and still enjoy messing around with engines / building bikes. To my wife’s despair, I have also recently started restoring and building 1980’s BMX bikes and am slowly building a collection.
Most significant industry change in the past 5 years:
The ongoing roll out of new regulatory requirements. It used to be every other year but is now constant and requires significant resources to keep on top of it all.
