To empower more women to take control of their finances

Independent Women the community of female financial experts has expanded across 6 locations to meet the demand for female-centric financial advice.

In 2022 Independent Women became part the international audit, tax and advisory firm Mazars and is growing its presence in Mazars’ regional offices.

Which includes Nottingham, Birmingham, London, Leeds, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Founder of Independent Women Lesley Mackintosh will continue to lead the business while also being a partner at Mazars.

Independent Women offers wealth and estate planning, tax and accountancy guidance, cashflow planning and protection helping to support women through life stages such as family, divorce and retirement.

The firm also provides investment advice with expertise in ethical investing and has advised leaders on corporate philanthropy, expansion and M&A.

Lesley Mackintosh, founder of Independent Women and Partner at Mazars, said: “Women have a significant opportunity to reshape the future through their financial decisions and the movement of wealth.
