Law firm sets up UK wealth management service

By Robbie Lawther, 11 May 21

It will provide advice on a range of issues including succession planning and cross-border estates

Yorkshire-based law firm Taylor & Emmet has launched a wealth service tailored to the needs of high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals.

The wealth management team will handle the complex estates of families across the UK. They will work together to provide advice on a range of issues, including private wealth structuring, succession planning and cross-border estates.

The service will be led by the firm’s head of Wills and probate Richard King.

He said: “As the number of complex, high value estates we manage has gradually increased, it became apparent we needed to find a way to handle them in a simplified, streamlined manner.

“By combining different legal disciplines under one umbrella, we can make life easier for clients and provide discrete, personalised advice, based on each individual’s unique set of circumstances.”
