Morocco-based undergraduates given CISI exam opportunities

By Robbie Lawther, 27 Feb 19

The deal could be extended to include finance professionals in the country

The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has partnered with the Casablanca Stock Exchange (CSE) to offer CISI global qualifications initially to university students throughout Morocco.

The deal, which could eventually be broadened to include Moroccan-based professionals already working in finance, will allow the Casablanca Stock Exchange to offer CISI’s range of qualifications to students at six public and private institutions of higher education registered with the CSE.

These establishments are: ENCG Agadir, ENCG Tangier, INSEA Rabat, Al Akhawayn University of Ifrane, the International University of Casablanca and the International University of Rabat.

The CISI’s Fundamentals of Financial Services is an introduction to the basics of financial services, providing an overview and career pathway into the professional sector.

Free CISI student membership will be offered to those studying for the exam with benefits including access to the CISI’s suite of over 120 Professional Refreshers on the CISI e-learning platform.

The qualification will be offered in English and French, with learning available both face-to-face and online via CISI accredited training providers.
