With Christmas is just around the corner, Ian Forrest, investment research analyst at The Share Centre, gives his tips on the 12 companies that could offer investors a present this festive season.
Bets on whether it will snow at Christmas and what the number one single will be should benefit high street bookies William Hill.
He said: “Bookmaker William Hill is already positioning itself to benefit from the crucial festive period by now taking bets on whether there will be snow on Christmas Day, who will be Christmas number one and of course the results of the Boxing Day football fixtures.”
He added that the group has recently indicated they could turn around the online business and could possibly make further efficiencies to bolster profits.
