3) Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust
The £3.26bn Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust is managed by Paul Niven (pictured).
It was the third most popular fund on the AIC website so far this year and has a strong record to back it up.
It has managed to increase dividend payments every year for 46 years and is one of the industry body’s so-called ‘dividend heroes’.
It invests primarily in global equities, with overweight exposures to the US and Europe ex UK.
