Bryan Parkinson to oversee expansion

Rowan Dartington has appointed Bryan Parkinson as managing director for Rowan Dartington Intermediaries and Rowan Dartington International.

In this newly created role, he will oversee the expansion of these offerings as well as further developing the firm’s discretionary fund management proposition.

Rowan Dartington’s services are currently available in the UK and Hong Kong, but parent company St James’s Place (SJ) has plans to expand it to Singapore and Shanghai in future.

Parkinson joined Rowan Dartington from Barclays Wealth in December 2016 as regional director for the north.

These developments are core to our overall growth strategy for the business.  Since our acquisition by St James’s Place

Glen Wilson now takes up the role of regional director of the north joining from Lloyds Banking Group.

Executive chairman Graham Coxell said: “These developments are core to our overall growth strategy for the business. Since our acquisition by St James’s Place (SJP), Rowan Dartington’s intermediary and international divisions have gone from strength to strength.

“As managing director of these businesses, Bryan will focus on expanding our already strong industry presence, whilst also bolstering our international services.”
