Credit Suisse expands Indian wealth management team

The ‘significant hires’ evidence the firm’s ‘deep commitment’ to the onshore market

Suveer Modi and Sudipto Sinha have left Kotak Mahindra Bank to become senior relationship managers, private banking India onshore at Credit Suisse.

Describing the country as a “key market” for the Swiss banking giant, Puneet Matta, head of wealth management India onshore, said: “We are continuing to build up our wealth management sector here.”

Modi will be based in Delhi and Sinha in Mumbai.

Both will report to Matta, who added: “Significant hires like Sudipto and Suveer underscores our deep commitment to the India onshore market and signals our strong focus to continue scaling our onshore business.”
