4) The City of London Investment Trust

In fourth place is the £1.53bn ($2.1bn, €1.7bn) City of London Investment Trust from Janus Henderson. Like Niven’s F&C investment company, this trust also boasts a lengthy track record of consecutively hiking its dividend for 51 years.

It also has the benefit of being overseen by the same manager, Job Curtis (pictured), for the last 26 years.
